GDC&A is government diploma in co operation and accountancy..It has 6 exams of 100 marks each conducted back to back over 3 days in 2nd or 3rd week of May..

Once completed you can work as intern for a minimum period of 3 years in a chartered accountant office…after that you get to apply on the panel for gdca..Once you are on the gdca panel you get license to audit accounts of co-operative societies..Their are 3 types of licenses -Class A , B and C..First we get C class license limited for audit of societies with 100 or less members and capital of not more than 1 lakhs..Then we upgrades to Class 2 and class 1 is for CA…

Co-Operative Societies include Housing societies , credit societies (patpedi ), fishing societies,farming societies, auto taxi drivers societies , co operative banks and all institutes that has co-operative word in their name..

Im myself Govt. Certified Auditor on Panel after doing GDCA..

Its very less known profession and you can earn decent income out of providing professional services to all the co operative societies…

After successful completion of course you need to work in CA office asap..the earlier you start would be better..Once you are on Panel target atleast 100 societies with income of Rs.50,000 per society which would yield you income of 5 Lakhs plus go for ancillary services like Billing services to housing societies , GST / Income Tax / PT / TDS returns and such services which will again yield you income of Rs. 3 to 5 lakhs depending upon how you market yourself and how much contacts you have.

This can be done part time along with your salaries Job too..
